We’re thrilled to be part of the 59th Samobor City Trophy, the oldest futsal tournament in Croatia, dating back to 1960. This year, RC Zone Samobor stepped in with a dual role – as a silver sponsor and with our very own team competing on the field.
Our players gave their best in the two matches at the start of the tournament, and now we can’t wait for the exciting final weekend of this incredible futsal spectacle.
A donation agreement was signed between RC Samobor Logistics and the Firefighting Association of the City of Samobor (VZG Samobor) at their headquarters. The donation is aimed at equipping the Volunteer Firefighting Societies of Samobor, Klokočevac, Bregana, Bobovica, and Samoborski Otok.
Antonín Dillenz, the project leader of what will soon become Croatia’s largest logistics centre – RC Zone Samobor, emphasized that this is just the beginning of the collaboration with firefighters, who are always the first responders in challenging and dangerous situations. He particularly praised the dedication of volunteer firefighters who selflessly devote their time to rescuing and helping others.
RC continues to strengthen its ties with the local community, contributing to making Samobor an even more desirable place to live and work.
This holiday season, from 2 December to 7 January, we’re thrilled to be part of the Christmas festivities in the heart of Samobor, the hometown of the future largest logistics centre in Croatia – RC Zone Samobor.
This year, we are supporting Santa Claus’s House, a special place where kids can write letters to Santa and share their holiday wishes. And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Santa himself will arrive in spectacular fashion on 16 December, landing not by sleigh but by hot air balloon at the former Taborec barracks.
At RC, we believe in supporting our local communities and creating moments of joy, especially during the holidays. We invite everyone to come, bring your little ones, and make magical memories at Advent in Samobor.
Our country manager, Saša Baleta, participated in the panel discussion “Croatia – the Logistics Capital of the Region” as part of the Transport and Logistics conference organized by Poslovni dnevnik. The panel brought together prominent experts in the sector, including Dino Mišar, Vice President of the HUP Coordination for Logistics and Distribution, Leon Dolušić, Operations Manager at ENNA Transport, and Damir Šoštarić, Director of the EU Funds and Strategic Planning Department at the Ministry of Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure.
The dynamic discussion highlighted Croatia’s potential to become the logistics capital of the region, leveraging its strategic location while emphasizing the need for investments in modern infrastructure and process digitalization. Saša also presented the key benefits of our RC Zone Samobor, a state-of-the-art logistics centre set to significantly enhance Croatia’s logistics infrastructure starting this spring.

We’re pleased to share further progress on the RC Zone Samobor construction. Wall panels, Pflaum® FI, manufactured by ArcelorMittal, have now been installed. These waterproof and fire-resistant rock wool lamellas are mounted transversely onto metal cladding and secured to the prefabricated reinforced concrete structure. We chose two contemporary shades of grey for a sleek, modern look.
In addition to the facade panels, loading technology and sectional doors are also being assembled. The installation of exterior windows and doors is set to begin shortly, along with an accelerated pace in interior drywall and installation work.

Our RC Zone Samobor project sets trends in the market, brings new high standards in logistics and will be one of the most modern facilities in the region. The first phase is nearing its completion and we look forward to the realization of the second one, and other projects in Croatia as well.

There is a significant advancement in the RC Zone Samobor project. We are currently installing a micro-reinforced floor slab with a thickness of 19 cm, which will allow for the use of high racks with a load capacity of up to 1200 kg per pallet position. This important step will ensure top-notch functionality and efficiency of our logistics centre, bringing us even closer to its completion.

Following the successful completion of our roof, we’ve now begun assembling the facade. We are proud to share that the first side of the building is now complete, featuring a unique and visually striking motif in various shades of grey. This design enhances the building’s look and shows our commitment to creating a welcoming and professional space for everyone, including visitors, users, and neighbors.
The facade installation is the final major step before we move on to placing the concrete slab, bringing us one step closer to the completion and opening of the first phase of this project.

RC Europe is proud to announce the start of Phase 2 in the realization of the future largest and most modern logistics centre in Croatia – RC Zone Samobor!
The construction of the second part of the centre, adding more than 41,000 square meters of space suitable for storage or potentially production, has begun with the execution of preparatory earthworks. This includes the removal of humus, soil excavation, geotextile installation, and backfilling to a thickness of 30-40 cm. All these steps are crucial to ensure the stability and quality of the second part of the structure.

Work on the roofing structure continues as we are now in the process of installing the roofing sheets. This vital step brings us closer not only to completing the roof, but also to the upcoming tasks of mounting facade panels and laying the floor plate.
